Elie Saab, a man passionate about design and architecture, dreamt of a glass bottle with a pure shape that played on light, brilliance and transparency. A beautiful object, sensual and generous.
“I wanted something simple, straight lines, the rigor of a cube and the sensation of an object made to be held in the hand, but with the density of beautiful objects. And as always, light as the overarching theme. For me, light is eternal strength,” commented the couturier.
With his impetus, the designer Sylvie de France, created a luxurious bottle, in the great perfumery tradition. Its purity of line and incredible brilliance express a resolutely modern aesthetic.
The transparency and luminosity of heavy glass, cut like crystal, is a veritable prism, its facets capture and distill every ray of light and mirror to infinity the honeyed tones of the perfume.
Sharpened by the designer’s high standards and his desire for absolute brilliance, the glasswork was pushed to the extremes of precision to create an object of light that reflects all of Elie Saab’s elegance, it is between the jewelers art and architecture.
The delicate case was inspired by the harmony of colors in the ELIE SAAB boutiques, the extreme elegance of travertine beige. The chocolate brown lettering, the color of wenge wood, stands out on the clarity of textured white surrounded by a thread of gold.
